Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. It spans across almost 20,000 square kilometers, which is almost as large as Belgium. It's home to all iconic African animal species including the Big 5. Because of the high density of animals, you will experience wonderful views from your own car.
Orpen Gate is situated around 75 minutes from the lodge.
Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
Moholoholo is a home for the rehabilitation of abandoned, ​injured or poisoned wildlife including rhino, wild dog, cheetah, lion, vultures en many more. ​

The centre is about a 45-minute drive from the lodge and is a great trip for the whole family.
Jessica Hippo
Have you ever fed or kissed a Hippo? Jessica is a very special Hippo, she was raised by humans and therefore she's extremely spoiled.
She loves sweet potato and drinks warm Rooibos tea. Jessica is not being held in captivity, she is free to wonder around and after her potatoes and tea session she often leaves.

Jessica lives around the corner, it's about a 45 minute drive from our lodge. A wonderful experience for the whole family.
Panoramaroute
Enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful scenic road that offers many viewpoints and is centred around the Blyde River Canyon. The world third largest canyon.

At the viewpoints you will be able to leave your car and enjoy the view.
The first view point is situated an hour from the lodge.
